27m Water TaxiA 27-metre water taxi for service between Renton and South Lake Union, the home to many tech savvy companies such as Amazon, Google and Facebook is being established for a Seattle based developer. Propelled by a quad engine and waterjet system, the catamaran will have a service speed of 30 knots to ensure a route turnaround time of one hour. It will also reach a maximum speed of 35 knots when fully laden. Designed with a diverse range of seating arrangements, this vessel is suitable for the daily commuter with intimate seating, business board meetings and equipped with staged presentation areas. This vessel also complies with ADA (American's with disabilities Act) regulations. Intended operation is to commence 2020.
