Saratoga

Teknicraft was selected to design a new 22m, 150 passenger catamaran 'Saratoga' for Puget Sound Express which conducts whale watching tours from Edmonds, Seattle to the spectacular San Juan Islands. Saratoga was built by All American Marine in Bellingham, Washington and was launched in April 2018.

This quad engine, hydrofoil-assisted, waterjet propelled vessel delivers a cruising speed of 35 knots, with a top speed exceeding 40 knots. A quick response time allows Saratoga to reach the whales and other wildlife anywhere within the Puget Sound on short notice.

The foredeck is equipped with tiered "stadium" seating which provides all passengers with a clear view, as well as a walk-around upper deck with aft outdoor seating. The interior is spacious, seating 114 passengers with large viewing windows, furnished with two restrooms, galley and bar service area.

This vessel is ADA (Americans with disabilities act) friendly, and is certified by USCG Subchapter T.
