136 PAX Ferry

Teknicraft is currently preparing a proposal for a commuter ferry with a capacity for 136 passengers to operate in the Greater Auckland region. At just over 19m length the layout is compact with 126 interior seats and exterior seating for 10 persons. The aft deck also offers space for carrying of bicycles.

The propulsion is based on Teknicrafts proven Quad-Engine and Quad-Waterjet system. Fully laden service speed is estimated at 27kn, with maximum speed in the mid-thirties.

The vessel is based on the very successful ferry Clipper 4, also designed by Teknicraft and operating daily between Auckland and Pine Harbour Marina south east of Auckland.
