The commuter route between Auckland and the scenic Pine Harbour Marina south east of Auckland is currently served by three Teknicraft designed passenger catamarans. Due to the popularity of the service the operator has expanded operations with a sister ship of Clipper IV designed by Teknicraft.

The new 17m hydrofoil assisted catamaran carries 96 seated passengers as well as a number of standing passengers, and also has additional space for bicycles. The vessel has been fitted with an adjustable hydrofoil which enables the fuel consumption of the vessel to be optimised for different passenger loadings and varying sea-states. Clipper V started service in November 2015.
