Following the delivery of four different Teknicraft designed vessels to The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in the US, NOAA commissioned a design for a 25 metre aluminium catamaran for their National Marine Sanctuary program.

This vessel operates in the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary with headquarters in Galveston, Texas.  The sanctuary is located offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 105 miles south of the Texas and Louisiana border.

Onboard is a large array of electronic scientific sensors and instrumentation as well as equipment to deploy an assortment of measuring and testing devices. The vessel features onboard Nitrox diving equipment, two laboratories and accommodation to sleep 14 persons in 5 private cabins.
